Ann’s Zucchini Bread: A Little Taste of Home

Ann’s Zucchini Bread: A Little Taste of Home

Some recipes are more than just a list of ingredients. They’re the ones that get made year after year, shared around the kitchen table, and remembered long after the last slice is gone.

Ann’s Zucchini Bread is one of those recipes for our family.

It’s simple, homemade, and filled with the kind of flavors that just feel like home — cinnamon, vanilla, fresh zucchini, and, of course, plenty of chopped pecans. Whether you enjoy a warm slice fresh from the oven or save a loaf for later, this is a recipe worth keeping around.

The Best Part: Zucchini Bread & Coffee

Around here, we think this zucchini bread is especially good when it’s sliced, toasted, and spread with a little butter.

Pair it with a hot cup of coffee, and you’ve got yourself a pretty good way to start the morning or slow down for an afternoon break.

It’s also a great recipe to make ahead. Once baked, the loaves can be wrapped and frozen to enjoy later, making it easy to have a homemade treat ready whenever you need one.

An’s Zucchini Bread Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 cups grated zucchini squash
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

How to Make An’s Zucchini Bread

1. Mix the ingredients.
Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl and mix until everything is well combined.

2. Prepare the loaf pans.
Grease two loaf pans and divide the batter between them, filling each pan about ¾ full.

3. Bake.
Place the loaf pans in a preheated 325°F oven and bake for approximately 1 hour, or until the bread is baked through.

4. Cool and enjoy.
Let the loaves cool before slicing. Serve as-is, or slice and toast with butter for an especially good treat alongside a cup of coffee.

Make One Now, Save One for Later

One of the things we love about this recipe is that it’s just as good tucked away for another day. Once the bread has cooled, it can be wrapped and frozen to enjoy later.

So whether you're baking for your family, taking a loaf to a friend, or simply keeping one in the freezer for those mornings when you need something homemade, An’s Zucchini Bread is a recipe you’ll be glad to have on hand.

We’re happy to share Ann’s Zucchini Bread with y’all and hope it finds its way into your kitchen, too.

From our family kitchen to yours, enjoy a slice and don’t forget the butter and coffee. 🤎🌰
